What is The LAA? +
The Livestock Auctioneers Association Limited (LAA) is the national organisation representing livestock markets and auctioneers in England and Wales. We support our members and promote their interests within the industry. The LAA works closely with trade bodies and government departments, actively influencing policy and helping shape the future of the livestock auctioneering sector.
How much does Market Prices cost? +
The LAA offers flexible subscription plans to fit different needs: Essential Daily Market Prices at £4.99/month for daily updates, and Real-Time Market Prices at £10.99/month for live trade updates and detailed insights. If you’re a regular buyer or vendor at an LAA member livestock market, you will qualify for free access to the Daily Prices plan by selecting your market and providing your unique account number when signing up. You must have traded there within the past 12 months.

The LAA offers a wide range of support, including up-to-date guidance, training, and access to a trusted network of industry professionals. Whether you need answers or connections, we’re here to help, because we believe in being your one connected hub for the livestock industry.

You can sign up for Market Prices here, choosing from Daily or Real-Time, plans. Simply select the option that suits you, accessing livestock trade trends has never been easier.
What Market Prices can I get? +
The LAA offers a range of Market Prices subscriptions including Daily and Real-Time, each tailored with varying levels of insights, update frequency, and livestock categories to suit your needs. Every package is available to all users, but if you’re a regular buyer or vendor at an LAA member livestock market, you will qualify for free access to the Daily Prices plan (normally £4.99/month). To be eligible, simply click here, select your LAA market and enter your buyer/vendor account number during sign-up, provided you’ve traded there within the last 12 months.
How does The LAA represent me in Government? +
The LAA represents livestock markets and auctioneers by engaging with the UK Government, Welsh Government and Defra to ensure members’ interests are heard. It works to influence policies on livestock movements, regulations, and fair trading practices, helping protect farmers and support a transparent market.
